It was a night of celebration in Sydney on Saturday evening as the city’s Star Event Centre hosted the New South Wales Master Builders Association Building Excellence Awards.

Hames Sharley designed Broadway Level 2; Food and Fashion Fusion precinct for Mirvac was among the winners with recognition for our partners Mainbrace Constructions. The project received the top honour in the category of Best Retail Refurbishment or Renovation.

Hames Sharley’s Principal Tony Quinn attended the gala event and was delighted with the project’s success, “When we designed Broadway we envisaged an urban destination that was context appropriate as well a lively and vibrant place” Tony said. “The initial concept was to create an ‘urban room’ and meeting place catering to city dwellers and celebrating city life. The project has gone on to surpass all expectations and that really is a testament to the partnership with the team at Mainbrace and the clients at Mirvac”.

Congratulations to all of the teams involved in the Broadway projects.
