Hames Sharley is a globally recognised brand within the AEC industry and they are looking for a confident and motivated candidate to join their Eastern States team to provide IT Support to the internal users of the Australian arm of the business.

As an IT Support Officer you will be customer service focused in your approach with the confidence to communicate face to face and over the phone. You will be responsible for the day to day support of the user base (170+) with all IT related issues pertaining to Hardware/Software. This would include software troubleshooting, hardware configuration, basic cabling and assembly of office peripherals as well as general IT related tasks.

You will work to all first and second level issues as an IT Support Officer that arise whilst working closely with the Systems Administrator in the business. You will be resolution focused and have a genuine interest to improve your IT knowledge. You will be proactive in your methods and be able to work autonomously.

Knowledge of Windows 10 and MS Office is a must, and Autodesk experience would be ideal but not essential. Exposure to Active Directory and Microsoft Servers would also be advantageous.

You will also demonstrate excellent communication (written & spoken) and the ability to use “outside of the box” thinking to resolve technical problems. You will have good understanding of troubleshooting process and the ability to prioritise your workload.
