There are no signs of slowing down for leading design firm Hames Sharley with the recent announcement of four new appointments around the country and an opening of an office in Brisbane.

The new appointments comprise of some of the country’s leading professionals in the areas of health, research and tertiary design who have worked on projects including the multi award winning Biomedical Research Facility in Western Australia and the billion dollar health project Fiona Stanley Hospital.

•    James Edwards -appointed as a Director of the Perth Office;
•    Stephen Muecke  - appointed Principal of the Adelaide Office,
•    Shaun Cassidy - appointed Associate for the Sydney office and
•    Stanton Kroenert – appointed as the new Director of the Brisbane Office.

Hames Sharley Chairman, William Hames says the new appointments reflect the organisation’s growth and reputation as one of the leading design firms in Australia, particularly in the areas of health, tertiary and research developments.

“As a team, we are ecstatic with these new appointments as they recognize the contribution these individuals have made to Hames Sharley and to the specialized fields of health, research and tertiary developments throughout Australia and overseas,” Mr Hames says,

“The launch of a new office in Brisbane is also a reflection of our growing presence within Australia.  The Queensland leadership team will be spearheaded by one of Queensland’s leading health planners and architect, Stanton Kroenert who has worked on some of the country’s largest health projects including the $1.1 billion Sunshine Coast Hospital.”

In addition to Brisbane, Hames Sharley’s work in Queensland includes projects in Cairns, Townsville, Yeppoon, and the Gold Coast.  Projects such as Pacific Fair, Garden City and the Willows Shopping Centre in Townsville are high profile projects in Hames Sharley's portfolio recognised as successful commercial outcomes for their owners.  "The new team in Brisbane will augment the high level of professionalism for which we have become known," Mr Hames said.
