Adelaide's first refurbished four star green rated building, this old office block was transformed into a contemporary, sustainable building for the new premises of engineering firm URS. Set to achieve a 4 green star rating it incorporates a VAV system that generates natural air flows through the building, glass ceilings and solar panels encourage usage of natural daylight and change, bike facilities are provided to staff. The use of UV film applied as a secondary louvered façade system onto the existing glazing reduces the heat filtering in from the western front of the building.
