Heathgate Resources

As a growing organisation, Heathgate Resources required the use of a 1000sqm floor in the newly refurbished 25 Grenfell Street to comfortably accommodate 66 staff members. The overall design concept created a space reflective of the company’s association with the South Australian landscape – particularly that of the Flinders ranges – and to create a warm and inviting space. Traditionally used to a cellular office environment, a move towards an open plan layout comprised the design team’s brief. In order to aid the organisation with this transition, the design solution offered the addition of ‘quiet rooms’ – glass meeting/office rooms that can be utilised as a private workspaces or meeting rooms, allowing staff to retain a sense of privacy without cluttering the office space.
