Merrylands and Wetherill Park Cinemas

Both Merrylands and Wetherill Park Cinemas were developed as a package for the Stockland Trust Group and were designed to appear coherent yet individual in their aesthetic appeal and function. Both buildings exhibit forms of stainless steel, the wave feature and a splash of red. Attention to detail was paid to the foyer being the main focal point of activity for the cinemas. Detailed stainless steel down pipes, a red wave canopy and variation in colours and texture rendering created a visually prominent building from all viewpoints.
