In October 2006, Hames Sharley was commissioned by the Health Department of WA to analyse the need for expanding health services in the Midland region and to develop a comprehensive business case for a new 330 bed hospital to be located on a recently purchased site adjoining the old Midland Workshops. As the lead consultant for this, Hames Sharley Strategic Services coordinated all demographic, statistics, financial and masterplanning inputs. In addition we were also the central point of referral for all stakeholder consultations and Government liaison.
