The Niche Lotteries House

This award winning building houses the Independent Living Centre, the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Western Australia and the 27 organisations that are members of the Neurological Council.  The building develops a synergy created amongst these health services providing them the necessities to work effectively together.  A major design feature of the building is the “wedge” which acts as a sign posting and directional device to visitors.  It is a bold and prominent statement which draws the attention to the facility’s entry point. There is also a strong emphasis on the use of “universal design principles” to maximise accessibility to and within the builidng that will enhance the user’s experience to the facility.
