Hames Sharley was commissioned by the Western Australian Police Service to undertake the master planning of its operational support facility in Midland.  The nerve centre of this complex is the computer aided dispatch and communications facility (CADCOM).  A secure building of 3,600 sqm over three levels, CADCOM contains the Police Operations Call Centre and the Fire & Emergency Services Call Centre.  The building also contains major incident rooms, training areas, administration and secure computer areas in a controlled environment. The design incorporates a campus style arrangement of separate but linked facilities, along a major circulation spine, providing flexibility for future growth.
