Western Australia is home to two Nobel medicine laureates and some of Australia’s brightest scientific minds.  The new headquarters for the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR) will be at the heart of a new research precinct on the QEII Medical Centre which is set to rival the best in the world.  The precinct will house more than 1,500 medical and scientific researchers and will serve as a beacon attracting the best scientists and researchers from across Australia and beyond to Perth.  This project is being designed in collaboration with UK architects LCE and incorporates the latest thinking and best practice from around the world.
