The Education building is located between the Pathology building and the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research at Fiona Stanley Hospital (FHS). It provides integrated teaching, lecture theatres, meeting rooms and training facilities to cater for the entire FSH development. Education is a three level building with two basement levels of car parking below. The building includes clinical skills nurse training, student and staff common rooms, large and small seminar rooms, computer learning and teaching spaces, reading and study spaces, internet based student and a staff resource centre, 2 x 80 seat tiered lecture theatres and a 357 seat main lecture theatre.

The building is interconnected with the main hospital and Pathology via ground and upper level bridge links, and is designed to encourage student and staff interaction around a central circulation 3 level void space including casual seating areas. Multi-purpose space at ground floor also provides the flexibility for function space and conference facilities. Overall the design outcome has lead to an efficient and flexible building that will provide a state of the art facility at the new Fiona Stanley Hospital.
