Client:
WA Department of Housing and Works and Princess Margaret Hospital for Children
Location:
Subiaco, Western Australia
Features:
Five stage upgrade of a hospital emergency department and main entry and Support Services

The main entry foyer and triage waiting room were given an attractive facelift using blended colour and generous floor and ceiling decorative motif elements. The challenge on this project was to achieve a seamless transition though five separate stages of construction and at minimal inconvenience and loss of functionality in the hospital. Close co-operation among the project team and hospital administration brought this process to fruition, despite the complexity of integrating the many elements. Princess Margaret Hospital can now operate in a more attractive and well-equipped environment, with a low-key and efficient security interface between the public areas and informal operational zones.
