Hames Sharley was involved in the feasibility studies, town planning, urban design, architecture and landscape design of this ambitious inner city project. Comprising a mixed use development of about 300 apartments, retail development, restaurants, cafés, and commercial offices, the focal point of the project is a civic square with an underground commuter railway station.

The square is a focal point for the local community as well as tourists and spectators at the nearby Subiaco Football Oval and is enclosed by medium-rise apartment buildings with cafés, restaurants and shops activating the square at ground level. Key to the project was the creation of a major public space containing the rail station. The subsequent integration of the transportat interchange and the residential and commercial development has resulted in an excellent example of a public/private partnership arrangement.
