Hames Sharley is responsible for the design development and documentation of the Retail portion of this significant Mixed-Use project. There are many challenges that the team is facing which include, but are not limited to, keeping up with a contracting team that is ahead of the Construction program, developing all design elements and achieving multiple Client/Stakeholder signoffs in order to progress and managing the coordination of all consultant and future tenant requirements.

DESIGN FEATURES AND ASPIRATIONS:

The retail podium is split into two zones, north and south, with an ‘Eat Street’ between the two. The geometrically faceted façade is a key architectural feature whilst the internal mall includes integrated planting and clerestory glazing to the residential podium beyond.
