Situated in one of the fastest growing regions in Western Australia, the redevelopment of Whitford City shopping centre was a much-needed facelift to cater to the demands of a larger community. An additional 12,000m² was added to the total floor area, underground car parking was increased from 600 to 2,000 car bays, five new mini-majors and 80 new speciality shops were developed.

Included in the mix was a ‘downtown’ precinct, also known as ‘The Piazza’. This centrepiece featured a variety of indoor and outdoor dining experiences and was decorated with water features and subtle landscaping. Situated next door to ‘The Piazza’ is a cinema complex designed to enhance the entertainment precinct further.
