Hames Sharley and Federation Centres, together with co-owner ISPT are pleased to announce that the development application has been submitted with the City of Mandurah to extensively redevelop Western Australia’s Mandurah Forum shopping centre.

The centre is now set to become the largest major regional retail hub south of the Perth metro area. Hames Sharley’s role in the project is wide-ranging, from master planning and urban design through to full architectural and interior design services.

This multi-million dollar investment will expand and revitalise Mandurah Forum to deliver a vibrant new retail experience. With a significant expansion of more than 20,000 square metres, the centre will undergo a dramatic transformation to become a modern, premium shopping destination with more than 150 new stores complementing the existing speciality stores and leading retailers Coles, Woolworths, Big W and Kmart who already call Mandurah Forum home. The redevelopment is estimated to create 700 permanent jobs at the centre.

The Forum’s design is influenced by the local vernacular, materialisation and culture of Mandurah with references to the natural and man-made environments of the coastal locality.
