Hames Sharley’s designed Woolworths Mt Pleasant had its grand opening in Western Australia on 26th June, marking the culmination of two years of planning, design and consultation work alongside Fabcot and ADCO Constructions.

This landmark, inner suburban rejuvenation successfully introduces two above ground levels of retail, medical and commercial space supported by two levels of basement parking on a physically constrained site. Being a new direction for Woolworths stores in the state, it perfectly aligns with Hames Sharley’s vision of enabling communities to flourish. A bright and welcoming interior is complemented by a façade design that is testament to the ways in which collaboration with local artists can provide local context and create a unique identity.

Hames Sharley wishes to thank the numerous strategic partners involved in the realisation of this development including Fabcot, Woolworths, ADCO Constructions, Proven Project Management, Urbis, Pritchard Francis, Wood & Grieve Engineers and Lucid Consulting, as well as the artists Paula Hart and Redfort Fabrics.
