Oliver Wellings, Associate, Hames Sharley

Oliver has over a decades’ experience in architectural practice and is an Associate at Hames Sharley. He has developed strong practical skills in both design and delivery of projects, with essential experience preparing tender documentation and dealing with site construction. Oliver is currently working on the design and DA documentation for the $180 million Macquarie Centre Herring Road corner redevelopment. He recently led a project team to deliver the $285 million Australian Museum Masterplan in association with Neeson Murcutt Architects, the concept and schematic design and DA documentation for Phase 1 of the Museum’s redevelopment. He was team leader on the Transport for NSW Transport Interchange Upgrades project, responsible for delivering design documentation to a fast-paced schedule for sites across country NSW.

Oliver has also been an integral part of teams working on master planning, retail design, commercial design competitions, urban planning, residential design, and airport terminal planning. He is a highly valued team member who brings thorough knowledge of Revit documentation, practical and thoughtful design ideas and professional dedication to a project.
