Hames Sharley is delighted to announce JDAP approval for the Zamia Apartments development in City Beach, WA, on behalf of our client Bode.

The new ‘build-to-sell’ development will comprise of two buildings of four- and six-storeys, together totalling 31 apartments offering one, two- and three-bedroom configurations separated by a large, landscaped central courtyard offering lush greenery.

Both buildings are freehold and celebrate an iconic location in City Beach, four minutes to the Indian Ocean and world-leading beaches. The area is an established residential, parkland and recreational suburb just 10km from Perth City.

“We are looking forward to delivering a beautiful asset between bushland and ocean, with strong benefits for the whole City Beach community,” says Hames Sharley Associate Director, Tim Boekhoorn.

The simple elegance of the building will compliment the existing amenity of City Beach rather than duplicating it, allowing residents to access the green spaces of Bold Park and Wembley Golf Course, nearby eateries, and the Empire Village Shopping Mall close by.

All of the apartments are designed to Gold Level liveable standards. With a design that maximises generous proportions, each apartment captures views and sunlight with many positioning the living areas on corners to elevate the feeling of space, light and enhance cross-ventilation.

At the heart of the Zamia Apartments, the central courtyard offers resident wellbeing and privacy. It creates a vibrant gathering space for social activation, while the integrated planters throughout and deep balconies provide a softness to the design and allowing residents to connect with the landscape internally and externally.

A safe and secure development, the Zamia Apartments will be finished in high quality materials in complementary tones inspired by City Beach, introducing a modern way of coastal living, with an open garden lobby entrance on the ground floor and basement resident parking.
