Enough Room is a community organisation that believes Australia has enough room to house our planned intake of 40,000 refugees. In fact, we have seven million spare bedrooms.

This 40,000 figure includes the intake of an additional 12,000 Syrian refugees recently announced by the Australian Federal Government.

The Enough Room organisation, in partnership with refugee action group, House of Welcome, has started a pilot program in Sydney. The program will match refugees with volunteers offering rooms.

The hosts will receive online training, and the matches will be made by approved agencies.
