Hames Sharley are delighted at the announcement that the practice’s National Workplace Portfolio Leader, Stephen Moorcroft is the Design Institute of Australia WA’s new Chair and National Councillor.

The vital role that the DIA undertake is one which supports designers’ work for the future of the design professions throughout the country. As Australia’s peak industry body for professional design, the DIA represents Australian design and designers both domestically and internationally. Their mandate is to assist professional designers to succeed in business and to enjoy their working lives.

Stephen is an absolute believer in the power of design to transform human experience and that’s why he is a perfect fit for both his role as Hames Sharley’s Workplace Portfolio Leader and the esteemed position he has now been given by the Design Institute.
