We all have our favourite apps, the ones that make us feel that our smartphone is a personal friend.

But one man’s treasure is another man’s trash.

Sadly, when town planners were asked to name their most valuable apps they came up with some pretty boring contenders (read the list here).

Not so architects, interior designers and urban planners. Their list of favourite apps – and their reasons for using them – was as wacky as they were creative (in this writer’s humble opinion).
