Reid Promenade Car Park

Hames Sharley was commissioned by the City of Joondalup for the design and project administration of a 5 level 566 bay multi-level carpark in the heart of the Joondalup city centre.

Being surrounded in close proximity be numerous residential, commercial and office buildings, Hames Sharley was required to investigate and implement strategies to eliminate or reduce sight lines, vehicle light interference, sound pollution and façade interaction with the neighbouring properties. Traffic influence to the surrounding properties was a key factor in the positioning of the ingress and egress points of the building for both vehicle and pedestrians alike.

In late 2016 Reid Promenade Car Park was named as Australia’s Outstanding New Car Park Development in the 2016 Parking Industry Awards.
